About Forest Lane Cottages

Forest Lane Cottages were built from our dream to share the wonder of Alaska. We've spent over 30 years exploring Alaska’s breathtaking beauty — flying our little plane, commercial fishing, rafting wild rivers, hunting, and guiding across thousands of miles.

After Rob retired from 20 years of teaching, we decided to create our first cottage on our 8-acre property in Palmer. Vanessa handles the decorating, guest correspondence, stocking, and all the thoughtful touches that make a stay special. Rob takes care of the building, grounds, and maintenance.
